Stephen Duncan

Piano Restorer
& Technician

Dear Friend,

I'd like to tell you a little about myself. I became a Piano Technician in 1978, following in my father David's footsteps. Dad and my mother, Jane Duncan, started our company in 1969. By the time I came on board, Duncan Piano had grown into a full-time tuning, restoration, and refinishing business.

Throughout my 23 years in the trade, I have enjoyed the privilege of restoring and caring for many fine pianos--each one having it's own musical personality and some with very unique challenges.

I take great pride in craftsmanship and believe in using the finest parts and supplies available. You can be assured that your valuable instrument will be serviced at the highest standards in my shop. Thank you for considering Duncan Piano for restoration and service.

Sincerely,
Stephen Duncan

Duncan Piano is proud of the quality service given each customer, and we are totally committed to continuing honing our skills.

Both David and Stephen are members of the Piano Technicians Guild; they attend monthly meetings and take advantage of classes related to piano service. Both have taken the Guild's examinations and have been Registered Piano Technicians for more than twenty years.

Duncan Piano is pleased to offer all levels of piano service from tuning and repair to complete restoration. We have a long list of satisfied customers in private homes, churches, and concert halls; in addition, we have been selected to perform these same services at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, High Point University, Elon College, the North Carolina school of the Arts, and the High Point Theatre.

Duncan Piano has worked hard to earn its reputation as a company which can be counted on to deliver quality piano service.
